This blog is for recording the process of job researches, letting us to know what jobs we can apply for related to our major, and also informations about those jobs.
Useful Tool
The website I used for research is PROSPECTS, there is a section called "careers advice", where you can find what jobs are available for your degree with jobs' information.

When I press "What can I do with my degree" section and choose my major course, it will show basic informations related.

After conducting a brief research, I'm able to understand the what career paths are available after graduating from textile design. With the suggestions and information provided by the website, I can choose jobs that suits me better, check the entry requirements for those positions, and tailor my CV accordingly to specific career directions.
Find A Job As An International Student
To be an international student, as the requirement for visa application went to £38,700, to find a job that enable me living at the UK went harder. But I decide to go back to China to find a job as a textile designer in interior companies or find a job as a teacher in international high school, so what I need to do is build up my profile with my previous projects (make different profiles if applying for different jobs). For instance, if I want to find a job in an interior design company, I need to show my design abilities and embroidery / print / CAD techniques in my portfolio.
