In week 32 lecture, Katie Greenyer shared her experience of working for Pentland Brands as the creative director.

Your Projects Are For...?

At Katie's speech, she mentioned about sustainability goals of the brand, as the brand is mainly focus on outdoor sportswear, the sustainability goal is net zero and care about people's well-being. This is an appropriate goal setting. Different products require different sustainability goals to meet certain needs of their target customers.

For example, when designing a set of room essentials and decorations for children, I will consider what materials are suitable for children, as this relates to their physical health. Additionally, the product's fun and engaging design is related to their mental well-being, in general, well-being is the sustainability goal for this project.

Future Thinking

Katie Greenyer mentioned AI technology in creative design area, this is also what I keep thinking of -- we already use AI to visualize our designs, but what will happen after 20 years? Will more useful tools be made for visualize designs? This brings me to memorize the lecture given by Stephy Fung and her garment filter, they can be linked.
