Digital Fashion Application

At the lecture introuduced digital art design by Stephy Fung, she mentioned a project that apply fashion designs to filters when photographing. This remains me of experience of discussing what fashion designs and fashion market will be like at 2070 when I was taking undergraduate study.

In the discussion, we came up with personalized garments apply to every single person, which based on free open source software, made from a 3D printer that connected with an online shopping webpage, so people can view version, textiles and colour online, personlize their garments as many times until they satisfied with them.

This idea is more about reduce material wastes and improve efficiency as it is not necessary for everyone to go to offline stores for fitting, the similar action can also apply to offline stores once clothing filters become more popular, so that stores can save place for fitting rooms, consumers can save time to "try" more garments they like.
